I started this site in February of this year, finished it it in May, and then stopped working on it for five months (because of another project).
Early on, when I was marketing locally by e-mail, I sold hundreds of dollars in ads to local businesses. The Ford dealership ad at the top sold for $499 for six months (ad expired in November). Some other ads sold for over $100 for six months. But I stopped e-mailing to sell the ads, so the ad sales dried up.
None of the ad sales were based on traffic. No stats were given, but because I was spreading the word, they decided to place ads on the site. (I didn't know any of the people who paid for ads before they placed them. But only a couple of ads besides the Ford ad were paid. The rest were put up as sample ads.)
I'm only selling because I really need the cash. I created a site just like this for someone else (which is one of the projects that took me away from this - for five months), and he has already sold over $5,000 worth of ads. I'd be happy to give the buyer the name of that site. It's just like this one, but with a few more bells and whistles.
I'd like to get $2,500 BIN - or best offer - for this site and all domain names:
