Does anyone have a template showing the lifecycle of domains

i.e.

- you buy new domain
- then if you do not renew it what is then next phase?
- pre release - what exactly is this?

Is it the same for all TLDs and then different for other domains?

Thanks in advance

http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/gtld-lifecycle.htm

Each TLD has its own rules.
ccTLDs normally have no pending-delete period, just some sort of deactivation period .eg approx. 90 days for .uk domains.

Prerelease domains are names that have not been renewed by their registrants. The difference vs drops is that they do not 'drop' so they retain their creation date and they are available from the current registrar only.
