I think it's great. I always take a limo home from the airport. Book ahead!

Thanks for the post! Good to see private venture capital is still alive.

Limos.com generated $5 million in sales last year!!!
Developing rocks.

Good read, thanks for sharing.

Limos.com is a prime example of a great developed website and the simplicity involved with the whole operation..... They rank for 1,000's of limo related search queries in the organic Google index but they do buy up quiet a bit of PPC ads as well. This is where they generate most of their traffic and leads.

Kind of reminds me of creditcards.com --- similar concept and setup.

Great domains + simple, proven and straightforward ideas = big money :)

Do you think the same development model will work as well with a sub-par domain?

It will be much better with premium name, but, yes.
It's certainly possible.
Think Google
Think Yahoo
Think Digg
Think Deli.cio.us
They all meant nothing before development.
They all were NOT premium domains before development.

GO FOR IT!

That's true. I suppose if you don't have a premium domain you need a premium service or a product. Probably easier to buy a premium name if one has the money.

development always helps

That is a great point,a shame more domainers do not understand this.

I think limos.com is a nice name but i think it has a very good managemet team working on it im sure that same team could make big revenue out a low quality name . I had a good luck at the site and they have done a really good job $5 million in sales in 1 year they must be dedicated nice name and nice business.
