Ok want to conduct a little experiment but seem not able to locate such a site....

We all know the day our domains expire from our registrar and if we dont renew them by that date there is still a chance we can renew them before it slips away. What im looking for is a website that list the EXACT date the domain will expire even if the owner still has time to renew. Example...

xxxxx.com is set to expire today 7-21-09
the owner say has 0-45 or whatever days to renew the domain before he is SOL.
I want a website that shows the domains expiring on THAT day (but again still able for the owner to renew before he has lost it forever)

Can anyone reconmend such a site? Im not looking for a namejet or tdnam as i dont want the name to go that far down the chain. I want it the day its set to expire.

Thank you

What you're looking for are RGP and Registrar-Hold lists. DRT and PremiumDrops both have them. Basically, those are domains that JUST expired but have anywhere from 1-120 days before they hit the drop date. Those are generated daily.

E-mailing the owners and sending offers is a great way to pick up domains long before they hit the auction process and become too expensive to acquire.

Good luck,
Luc

Thanx but are those both pay sites?

The date varies depending on the holding registrar and the account type, e.g. eNom reseller accounts can reclaim expired domains as late as 30 days later. I'm pretty sure GoDaddy from day 1 of expiration renders a domain to be worthy of an RGP fee.

I do understand the process, Im just looking for a site to list all domains to expire for that day even though the original owner may be able to renew it.

There are no sites that I know of that provide these lists updated on a regular basis for free. It's actually quite resource intensive to generate them.

Good luck
