List of recently registered names

Are there any websites that have a list of recently registered names? I understand that this would be a ton of information, but if the information is out there, I would love to run a few scripts through it.

You need access to the Verisign zone files.

Then you need to be able to parse the data.

Do they approve applications easily, or is there a high barrier? Once I have access, I am pretty good at parsing.

Is there any free lists to review current drops that were not registered?

DeletedDomains.com used to be good but no longer free.

I just filled out my application to VeriSign and sent it in via Fax...any idea how long the turnaround is, generally?
