I own BritishGasA.......com , where A...... is a word
now british gas lawyer has contacted me that I should give the domain to them
To they have a case? I thought that british gas is generic term.

My suggestiong is to kindly ask them if they will buy it from you... you cant force it on them though... If a TM owned company wants a domain name that obviously interfears with their TM, they will get the domain, and you could possibly get in lots of trouble.

So kindly email them back, saying you will hand over the domain if they give you a sum of money to comp you.

make sure its really them though, and not some bull$hiter.

Most of the times they are willing to pay you off instead of going through court fees
