Anyone lives in a loft or familar with this area?;) Though this word should not be in the dictionary, it looks not bad and it may be a new word. I'm really interested in developing this one.

The first plan I'm thinking about is a social network or a forum for loft owners, lovers, brokers. But I'm not sure how big the population is and if the site will attract these people to sign up, what will they like to discuss. The second plan is a loft related maganzine or news site. The third plan is a loft property listing site, charge listing fees. Not very familar with realestate business, much to learn. I think it's better to have a community with the site according to the domain. Looking for the most profitable model.

Any appraisals, advices, ideas? Thanks.

Brandable. No doubt there.

Your most lucrative path would be to start a blog providing content to those in the loft-loving/loft-living community.

Real estate related traffic is great traffic, and you would have no trouble getting money from adsense.

My appraisal for the name on its raw keyword value would be low $xxx.

I know people who live in lofts and have never heard the term "Lofter" used. I think that is really stretching it. It is like someone in an apartment being called an "Apartmenter".

I know the domain is somewhat brandable and aged, but commercial value is what drives domain value. Outside the .ORG, which is developed, there are not a ton of potential buyers for a domain like this.
