We've just purchased LogoDemon.com and would love your opinion on its value! We’ve got a rough idea by using two of the more popular free domain appraisal services and here is what they appraised it at.

Search Term: "Logo Design" / 50,000+ Searches Per Month / 1,750+ Searches Per Day

Try "cars", that'll get you even more searches. No point in listing how many searches there are done for a term that isn't in your name.

I also think those appraisals are way off. Of course it's always touch to end-user appraise a domain, cuz if the buyer really wants it there's no telling what he'll offer, but for someone just wanting the domain for a logo type site, I wouldn't appraise this for more than low $xxx tops. Sorry

swift always give very high valuations
1 of my domains ( only just registered ) got "valued" at $92'000 lol

anyway.... that being said

i could see high $$$ or possibly even low $$$$ to end user if you develop it

There is definitely SEO value to have the word "logo" for this domain if you're optimizing for "logo design". After all 50% of the search term "logo design" is included in the domain "logodemon.com" and more importantly the first word "logo" is also the first word in the term "logo design". In terms of searches just "logo" gets well over 80,000 searches per month.

apart from google who love names like that ( msn prefer hyphens )

search for logodemon and see how many you get

Because as for keywords/SEO it does zilch.

As has been said, the prime term would be "logo design", others would be "business logo" or "logo designer" etc. but i have yet to come across the search term "logo demon" or "logodemon".

As for brandability - sure, it's brandable but so are numerous of availabe logoXXX.com names out there that can be regged for reg fee.

It's not a bad name, but its value depends on what you'll develop/ do with it.

If you bought it just for resale, don't set your hopes too high.

Trust me on this. The name means nothing here. You could get as good results for logoyankee.com as for logodemon.com
