I am keen to get in touch with domainers in the United Kingdom, especially from the London area and surrounds. I was quite surprised not to find a group here already! Anyone out there?

Also, I am interested in forming a domain name investment group with a few local domainers. If you are interested PM me and we can chat!

Well! Nice to see that there are some Londoners here!

A bit more on the Domain Name Investment Group that I would like to form...

I would like to form and Domain Name Investment Group with say up to 15 members, preferably all based in London, so that we can meet each other and get to know each other enough to build a trust when dealing with ownership and money.

Basically, It would be a group of domainers who pool together funds to purchase exclusive, high-quality domains that we either develop and run or, and most likely, optimize and park and collect the revenue and divide it between each person based on their share of the fund.

Well at least that is my thinking at the moment! I am definitely open to ideas on other ways to run the fund and to make it more beneficial for all involved.

For me, It would be nice as I have money to invest in such a group but as of January, will not have much time to manage my own portfolio as I begin Basic training in the British Army, and would like to earn through the group. The group would allow us to be buying top quality domains that will see steady traffic and income for the years to come.

Any thoughts? Comment? etc... I'm open to suggestions! If anyone is interested, please post your thoughts here or PM me and we can go from there. Ideally it would be nice to have at least 6 or 7 people but no more than 12-15.

I can't do the 8th as have prior arrangements, but would definitely like to suggest a meeting soon, perhaps with a week or two's notice though. Is any huge preferences from others as to where would be a good meeting place? I can be at waterloo in 45mins from my house. South/central is best for me...
