Looking to start my own Live auction and rent a place.

Ok, People I am thinking of renting a place for a day and creating my own live auction.

Maybe collect an entry fee per domain name. And a percentage of each sale.


Also maybe a Donation fund to raise enouph and maybe some extra since this will be taking time away from my job.

Also when you donate you will get a little Avatar saying I help raise funds for NY DN Auctions

There's not really much point to make it live unless you have a conference and keynote speakers and such. Nobody is going to travel to NY for a 3 hour auction. Just have a Web cam and a chat room and play auctioneer :)

Holding a Live Auction is a major undertaking, with a lot of factors involved. You'll have to handle escrow, the auction itself, create an inventory of names, and most importantly, earn the trust of domain owners
