I have a bunch of domains that need to be renewed (in other words, perhaps transferred away).

Which registrar offers the lowest cost multi-year registration package?

I'm the Operations Manager. If you are serious with domaining, I can even help you get your own reseller account. For details read my blog http://reseller.king.net

Feel free to drop me a note anytime you like.

Unfortunately, I don't think $7.49 is a particularly attractive price ... many other registrars (e.g. 1&1 or even godaddy using coupons offers prices of $6.99 with ZERO commitment to buy multiple domains or pay an advance deposit)

Well if your target is reseller I will not argue with you. But we have millions of fish in the ocean, this is your customers. Meaning to say, the reseller account will give you business opportunity in domain name as registrar/webpreneurs.

We have resellers investors as well, most of them are dnf'ers.

I will not compare Enom service to the registrar you mention. It's up for you to decide anyway. I'm only sharing your a proven long term partnership in domain business.

Cheers,
em
