Did anyone see yipy.com auction last night? I stopped watching when it hit $2,5k+ and 1 hour left ... I mean, even CVCV's with Y's is selling great nowadays.. I don't think you will have problems selling this one for $2k+ or even more. "Lury" is very easy to pronounce and it sounds like a first name.

The bare minimum is 1,5k$, but it would most likely go for something in between 2-2,5k$ here or at other domain forums.

Bad luck / bad timing. I have missed many auctions where i would have paid 2 times more.. Depe.com sold for just over 2k recently.. That was a steal as well.

Question guys

why are CVCV.coms worth *so* much more than VCVC.com?

they are like at least double the value!

They are usually much easier to pronounce.

Bobo.com (CVCV)

vs.

Obob.com (VCVC)


Popa.com (CVCV)

vs.

Apop.com (VCVC)


IMO CVCV.com's usually sounds like a single word, while VCVC.com's sounds like two short words put together. Just my 2 cents ..
