the combo just isnt up to it IMHO.
it's definately better than other ccTLDs, but at $1400, I would take, duck, and run.

Disagree. It does have to do with the .tv extension. The only names I think have value with the .tv extension are those related to television. Also, (Seeker) .US is much, much better and can be applied to a much more open application of names. Same for .ws. IMHO

Agree that we disagree on this issue. In my book, .tv is ONLY good for televison keywords. The rest is just a hype job put on us domainers to try convince us that .tv really is like almost special or something. What else does it mean besides television? Turtle Victory? At least .ws can mean website.

On the .US ccTLD, there is absolutely NO comparison. Again, other than television keywords, I can't think of a single instance where .tv beats .US.
.tv is one extension they could have gone without.
