Corporations looking to get into the M2M market are opening up lab centers to develop tech solutions for enterprises and consumers. A few companies with announced plans to open up collaboration or launch command centers for M2M technologies include:
Orange (International M2M Center)
Deutsche Telekom (International Competence Center)
Sprint (M2M Collaboration Center)
Verizon (Verizon M2M Management Center)
AT&T (AT&T Innovation Center)
Enea (M2M Competence Center)
Numerex (M2M Business Solutions Group)
Telstra (M2M Control Center)
Since M2M has been receiving little mainstream press, these centers are being launched to educate clients on the applications of M2M technologies and their relevance for business efficiency. With regard to Telstra and Verizon the M2M center is strictly software based as opposed to an operating lab or workshop environment.
I understand that a fair appraisal cannot be easily determined for either M2MCenter.com or M2MCentre.com. Still any appraisal or development thoughts will be appreciated.
