appraise mad.host, your thoughts please?

This thread is an appraisal of the domain name requested.

I am in the web hosting business, though only a small player at the moment. I purchased mad.host on a whim really, thinking along the lines of 'crazy domains'.
Should I develop the domain, i.e. build a hosting service around it, or is it likely to have a saleable value that may be enticing? An appraisal would be nice, otherwise advice on if I should develop it with a view to selling the domain with the set up, or if I should simply develop it for myself. Thanks.

Stay with the .com or .net if you can.

How may times people type in .host .pro .xyz, etc....?

I wouldn't do anything with it, it's not that memorable.
I agree about staying with .coms

Yes, it's true isn't it. I often wonder about these new 'global domains' and if they're worth it or not.

The name itself is probably worth just the reg fee. So go with what you said and add value on top of the name and flip.
