Majority of parking pages not resolving at Sedo

It would seem most parking pages are not resolving at Sedo, can someone check this and report (you never know I might of been banned or something).

I tried both [mydomain].com and sedoparking.com/[mydomain].com

both resolve and display correctly.

maybe there's an issue with sedo dns somewhere or your resolver. or the problem got fixed.

Sara has just PM'ed me, she says she will look into it. I have just checked again but still here in the UK no pages are resolving to the parked pages!

Hey Bilbo, are you back up and running. I have been working ony my Sedo account all morning and have not had any trouble at all. But then I am downunder where life is perfect. Hope you got it fixed.

Ah well I guess I should move doen under! Thanks for taking the time to get back to me.

Just wait and see what happens from here, it is not a major problem for me but for those who rely on parking from UK views (it isn't worth it to me).

I just cleared the cache of my own resolver, to see if there is any problem with sedo DNS - didn't find any reason why it shouldn't work:

I will wait a few hours until the UK gets up and see what happens, but it is strange it is only Sedo parking pages and not their site that is down, also it is not just my pages either.

I know a few others over here have had this problem before. It could be a UK thing, we will wait and see.

Domainsponsor.com had the same problem, not sure if they fixed it, but they changed to new nameservers, from ns1.proredirect.com to ns1.dsredirection.com. Didn't know it, a lot of my domains didn't resolve for a while until I ran a test on a domain to sell... make sure if you are at Domainsponsor to double check your nameservers and if your domains are resolving. The new nameservers are working great.

BILLBO its been like that for a few months every time i check no parking page
comes up from within the uk, ive emailed sedo around a month ago but they
said it was working. but it still dont work and shows up with no page

Hi BuyandSwap,

Sara said she could get them, I got them for a few hours on Saturday but today a no-show again! Perhaps this explains the lack of UK traffic.

I did actually talk to Virgin earlier in the week and they said they have no current issues, they think it is down to Sedo's servers!

I know this doesn't help, but it is as far as I can get. I tell you we should move to Australia or something!

im with ntl telewest so im sure its sedo which has the problem
and im also sure were losing revenue from uk clicks.

if you get a chance try keep this thread updated so i can see if sedo fixes this thanks Billbo

I had this issue a year ago and it appeared that BT was actually blocking SEDO parked pages.

I have noticed that some Anti-Spyware programs tend to block out the IP ranges also. If you have installed ad filters or anti-spyware I would start there.

Contact Virgin again and ask them if they block out IP ranges.
