I see, CA Registry (Ed Hew) is these guys: http://www.registry.ca/
CIRA won't put any domain name into the TBR list if they need the name for whatever reason. The results in PDF are raw results they are not sorted by the companies. For instance pool.ca has more than 100 registrars, they are listed by their name in the pdf (raw data). I take the fisrt 20 and do a small research to identify to who these registrars belong. It is kind of complicated. For instance PCP.ca today was picked up by 0756868 B.C. LTD., so I had to figure out who owns it (turned out to be BareMetal.com)

I just lost igolf.ca yesterday, maybe I was bidding against someone here? I really hate the 5 day long auctions, where everything happens in the last 20 minutes. I think the Sibername approach makes a lot more sense.

pool.com thinks that they are maximizing profits by making the auction longer in terms of time. I think 24 hour auction following the TBR run is a lot better. Just like you Jonathan, I keep forgetting sometimes about the auctions I have at pool. On the other hand other people forget too, and I am getting a good deal sometimes
