Is there a tool I can use to check WHOIS info for 100 websites?

Do you want to know if the domains are available, or in more depth, who owns them? Are you talking .com/.net/.org etc. gTLDs or ccTLDs?

So you need a 'referral' whois client then. For 100 queries you might just as well use a bulk register request (50 max but do it twice) like Godaddy offers. 100 queries is peanuts. Take care about spam :)

I'm new to all this - can you give me a link to the tool? Also, how can I get the owners email addresses if I'm trying to register the domains? Thanks :)

Godaddy.com > bulk check. If a domain is taken it should give a link to the whois, from where you can get the email address. But take care with UCE. This only from memory - maybe it's changed - try it anyway.

Hey, I'm sorry to bother again, but it didn't work. For every single domain in the list, it said:

I went to bulk register, and it says:

ERROR: [domain name] is unavailable and has been removed

Ohh - yes that's right. In that case, paste the ones that say 'not available' and then run them through domaintools.com
