I picked this up the otherday, nice dating name.

I placed it in a for sale thread , to test response and received a couple inquries.

I am not that familiar with .Org.Uk , just to the point to where I realize that only .co.uk and .org.uk are considered "respectable" holdings out of the 6 or so .uk extensions.

For those of you that are familiar .. what kind of a price range seems reasonable.

I have absolutely NO experience with this extension... so you can discard this appraisal if you wish..

A) the PREFIX is simply awesome, unmatched!

B) the SUFFIX/extension will take massive branding.. in order too NOT loose traffic too the .com

Best of success

I was a little conservative because of the tld. A motivated buyer could shell out even more than $200. Good luck. :)

Thats funny ..I just replyed to a prospect (before you reposted) and mentioned something about the fact that I respect your appraisals more than most peoples but that you tend to lowball (imo) because you are also a buyer..

I offered him a very nice price ..simply to move stock.

Looks like .org.uk shouldnt be a problem, a organization that provides Match Making services in the UK.. seems pretty reasonable...

Thanks trader..

Thanks for your compliments. ;)

I never let my desire to buy a name cloud my appraisal for it. I just keep my mouth shut instead of giving low appraisal to a deserving name.

Oh I agree, BUT the UKs are an exception because they have been around so long, as long as people are use to them, they are familiar and the awareness level is there it's not that big a deal.

But yes, in my opinion any new ccTLds that try to go for ths subs instead of top level are headed down the wrong road.
