Hi All
I found a "first name".me that is available. It a popular 5 letter english name with over 36 million google search results. Are there any value in these? What are your thoughts?
Thanks!

sure is, get it before its gone !

I think names have value in .me ...only to those with the name.

If it's still available...probably no interest.

the .me is the only extension still available. i checked estibot just for kicks and the .com version says 20k

Alright, get it and let us know what it is after.

Estibot appraised value should be used as a guide to whether the domain has value or not. What the value is, well there is a lot to be said on many other contributing factors that will really establish true value, most of the time what the End User is willing to pay.

You should just buy it, I am sure eventually someone will attempt to register it.

still debating if i want to spend 19.99 for a .me at godaddy......

It would have more aftermarket value if the name is a commonly used name, like "john, Jack, Sam, or jenny", if it is a unique name not commonly used you may want to save your money.

It's along those lines, just a slight variation in the spelling.....kind of like jayson instead of jason or billie instead of billy

Then the value isn't that great.

Again, i think the .me extension doesn't have great reseller value. Unless you have a top generic domain.

thanks for the help. if it's still available in a few days i may just grab it. if nopt...oh well. thanks again!
