This was very interesting to me at the bottom of the page "A operating Unit of Medicine.com, Inc." ... I dont see how they would let it get away if this were true ... anyway, Medicine.org looks like an adsense goldmine. I say high XXX for just the name. Good luck.

Congrats, great name and goes perfect with the org extension. Sure wish I owned the name.

It must have caused a major bid war at pool and cost you a ton of money.

A little surprised to see Pool get such a good one since according to Duke's Journal they seem to have declined a lot over the past few weeks.

it was no bid war, but yes it wasn´t cheap :wink: .
But i had to have this name, like a few more and i am pretty confident it is worth every buck i did spend.

Pool is still very good in catching high profile .orgs
next to snapnames i would say.

I hate .org, but that's mostly due to people regging/using stupid names with .org.

This one fits great, mid 4 to low five figures. mid 5 figures and beyond to the right enduser. Awsome industry.

I agree with Seeker, $XX,XXX. Although mainstream prescriptions seem to prefer .com, I see a lot of .org’s in the medical field. The Pharmaceutical industry is HUGE!

I'd contact FDA and ask for some data sheets on what medicines are available, use that as a stepping stone rather than try to commercialise an .org right away.
