Auction ended at 7pm EST (Eastern Standard Time), I confirmed this with mazkel. You bid at 6:54 EST and the auction ended at 7pm EST. I bid exactly at 7pm EST. I won the auction pm me with payment details.

This is not the first time that this has happened. In order to resolve this issue, I am extending the auction starting at $9. The auction will close 24 hours after the final bid.

Mazkel as the rules of the auction forum read:

4. You must specify an exact end time, of which time zone, and the date. NO "ends *hours after last bid" allowed. AT YOUR LEISURE, you may also allow for provisions of anti-sniping, so that a bid placed within the last 5 minutes of the auction would extend the auction by an additional 5 minutes to the clock. The standard to this rule, if its not exactly specified by the thread starter is this - 4 minutes remaining, bid placed, 5 minutes get added, so clock gives 9 total minutes till end of auction. If 1 minute or less is remaining, 5 minutes get added, so the clock gives 6 total minutes before auction closes. This is the standard to be used whereby anti-snipe is in place (and ONLY if anti-snipe is in place as would be stated by the auction holder). If anti-snipe is NOT clearly specified, it is not in effect. Anti-snipe is a new procedure in effect as of April 10, 2008 (4/10/2008).
This means the auction could have had an extension of five minutes after the last bid.. IF you clarified that the anti snipe was an option. You never specified that anti snipe was in effect. I believe this auction is over.

According to the forum time, nicedomains bid is valid at 7:00PM.
He should be the winner of the auction.

Don't be greedy and do the right thing.

Thanks,

Tie goes to the baserunner!

wow, 32 cents per name...

I thought the auction ENDED at 7PM, so once it became 7PM, its already over? you bid at 7PM, if a bid at 7:00PM was valid, surely ending time would be 7:01, thats what I was getting at, am I getting something wrong here? I always though ending times were exact unless anti snipe was stated
