please appraise this domain I listed it on sedo yesterday and already had an offer for $1500 can you guys help me out on what you think, should I get rid of it or hold on for awhile, this domain has no stats or anything.

Does the guy offering $1500 want you to get an apprasial on the domain?, There is loads of this going around Sedo at the moment, you get the email moments after listing the domain....it's a scam.

Too right I have had a few of these guys on. Offered the guy a Sedo appraisal and he turned quite nasty.

Appraisal would cost more than this domain is worth!

Guys thank you for your replies, I am new to selling domains and I really appreciate your thoughts, the offer came about 3 hours after I listed on sedo and the person did not ask for an appraisal, but I think he is a lawyer or from a law firm because of how he ended his name (attorney at law), but that can just be a ploy, I guess - to be honest I can't even spell the $%*#$* name, yet alone understand why someone would buy it , but I understand that people are bidding big money for that search term.

Actually I tried this term in both the US and UK Overture tools.

The result for the US tool look encouraging an normal. There was, however, something unusual about the UK searches, almost as though they had been automatically generated. Is there something of Scam going down here?

We don't use the term "attorney" over here. I don't think it's worth anything.

Not worth a lot because the legal system is different in the UK so you can't win the massive payouts you can in the US (and so the bids can't go nearly that high). One site (that's paying to advertise prominently in Google UK) claims to be able to recover up to 65,000 pounds (about $110,000) where the disease was very severe and lead to premature death or disability. Given that they're going to make the best sales pitch they can, it shows the huge gap between the UK and US judicial systems (looks like the range is $750,000 to $2,500,000 or more in the US for similar injuries).

Couple that with the fact that lawyers are not attorneys, and mesothelioma is very commonly known as asbestosis, and the value's really hit.
