No doubt they would have got stroppy if the new "owner" wasn't so co-operative.
 
I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't accredited themselves as a registrar yet, just like Amazon.com and AOL have done. They'd save a lot of $$$.
 
I wonder though. If that person wanted to keep hotmail.co.uk, wouldnt he in some sort of TM violation?

I am sure MS would find a way, right?

C'mon. Have mercy. How can those POOR guys afford to renew a name for $90 for 2 years ? :[

Does MS, AOL or Amazon really have enough domains to make becoming accredited neccisary?

Would they be better off just to manage them @ a secure registrar?
