I just picked up MISPELL.COM (itself a misspelling of the word used to denote when something is misspelled). I believe it used to be a portal site. It is one of the top 100 misspelled words out there (according to yourdictionary.com).

I was thinking of using it as a Error 404 "catcher" site for all the typos traffic I get on my type-ins domains.

Anyone have any idea on worth or other possible uses?

Thanks,

Adam

Double "ss" are commom misspells, like newsstand, etc....

Not sure what you can do with a misspelling of misspell though.

Good luck.

Definately holds some potential if it is developed in a meaningful way. Woeger, you might have something cooking there :)

Good luck!

Lots of people misspell "misspell", but I can't foresee any real use for/of it in the way that you described ... but perhaps. I guess if you have a lot of other misspells it might be kinda neat to have the "original". Low resale value, though. Good Luck.

Nice pickup. Although I do not think it has a high undeveloped resell value, it has more potential than many misspelled names. I estimate $100-200 undeveloped, and $500-750 developed, depending on the income stream you can establish.
