I just missed the domain on the expired auction the one I really wanted so bad. It had 0 bids. I contacted the support center and they told me that about 75 days after expiration date it will be available for public. Is there a shorter way to contact the owner? What if the owner will ask re-register and ask for higher price?

I did the same thing once and I kept an eye on it. It dropped a couple days later and I was able to hand register. What registrar/auction was it on?

Yes I agree some domain names I won't even take for free but there might be someone who is willing to pay few hundred dollars for what I wouldn't.
Auction is @ Dynadot
