I found a very interesting utility at

http://www.simonsaystraffic.com/softwaredetails.htm

I fully understand how it works except for the most important thing

"how many visitors type a misspelled domain name everyday"

Where did they get this information? I mean how often people type a particular name in a browser.

Is this information available on the web ? Can you drop a link ?

Please help

Your link is useless. It shows how to creat e META TAGS

I repeat my question again:

I'm interested in how many visitors type a misspelled domain name everyday

Where did they get this information? I mean how often people type a particular name in a browser.

Is this information available on the web ? Can you drop a link ?

Please help

the purpose of RJ's link from a domain buyers point of view is to see what kind of typos there are and then giving you the chance to see how often these typos appear in google.

this gives you a way to correllate how popular a particular typo is.

you could also check overtures search hits for a particular typo to see if it is being searched for and how often.

but as for directly viewing the number of hits a typo recieves you have to reg the name and track the traffic.

Well, but how SimonSayTraffic shows this number of daily typos?

They did not get this information at Overture. I checked it myself.

For example , their software shows 250 typos and Overture shows 0 typos

Do you think they show random numbers ?

and see the screenshot

They get this information somewhere esle. Where ?

-RJ-, Thanks for the link. I don't see it as useless :-)

What is the source they use to obtain this important information?
