.mobi premium auctions

not sure if this is on another thread. apologies if it is.
Found this & it's interesting reading. First 10 premiums (or so they say) get auctioned at the traffic auction. Be interesting. I prefer a couple i've regged to some of them, but fingers crossed they'll go for a shedload & it's sunshine all the way for the ones who have regged some mobis.

we'll all wait with baited breath i'm sure. those who regged, those who didn't!
they're also stringing some out until 2008, or so it says.
i regged a couple more today. might have a little trawl later.

auction at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East domain conference in Hollywood, Florida,
on October 27, 2006.

Interesting, a lot of the biggest domainers will be at TRAFFIC, some who have posted in this forum that they aren't interested in .mobi. The auction results will give a good idea where .mobi stands with the big players.

Personally, I don't like this practice; Is dotMobi a registrar or an auction house? They should register domains, not keep the best names for them. However, it is good to promote .mobi domains, since I have a few. Thanks for sharing.

Sellers do not have to attend the conference to participate in the auction, however the Buyers do have to attend I far as I know.
