From visual PoV only:

Not much contrast between gray and dark blue stripes. Gray should be lighter, IMO.
The rest looks OK.

imo, the darker bgcolors offer good contrast against the white text when viewed on a mobile phone screen, and the blue contrasts enough with the grey. Have you had a chance to view the site on a mobile phone?

No. Just on 21" LCD.
(my cell is some old junk with 1"x1" screen)
if you say looks better on cell - I believe you.
