some french .com's I have with quite a bit of traffic and clicks and increasing a lot lately, esp. the "download" ones.

don't know much about the foreign market for .com's.

any thoughts, appraisals or advice?

I have a lot more along these same lines, but these are the busiest right now.

I see you are from France. Is enlignebanque.com not the same as bankonline.com in English? And you say $0? Are you kidding me? These names are all getting lots of traffic and all make me money on clicks every single day.

I have all of my french domains parked on fabulous and I have only figured out how to get daily numbers. will put up a recent couple for a couple of my names (how do I attach gifs?). my french domains are by far my busiest there, esp. the download ones (i.e; xtelecharger.com, etc), but they all consistently get traffic.

I am very curious about the french fellow's appraisal, as some of my terms have big ovt, big search results and traffic/clicks. How can he possibly say $0? very strange.

"enligne" should be after the name, before the name it doesn't make sense... It should be banqueenligne.com not enlignebanque.com. Same for mobilebanque, the right one should be banquemobile.com. "Mobile" and "en ligne" should be after the name in French.

The only names that make sense are:

All the others are bad translations from english, maybe from a translation software?

if even french people say those domains are terrible and you are getting a lot of traffic with those names I think maybe your parking company should look into your traffic...is it expired traffic?

these get the most hits, along with telecharger***.com w/ the same endings.

which is better - telechargement*** or telecharger***? both get similar traffic.

I guess I'd better go over these w/ a french speaker (I just reg'd them on a lark at a discount a year or so ago), just always surprised at the consistently increasing traffic, even the ones that apparently don't make sense.

expired traffic means it used to be a site that has backlinks that real users link from, so yes, those click... and you were saying that ALL those names get lots of traffic so I wonder why a domain that is translated wrong in the french market would get traffic..any idea?

yeah, I don't have a clue. maybe because of the mix of certain french keywords? all I know is that these give me traffic everyday and good clicks (one gave me a 1.76 on one click alone the other day), and more than pay for themselves, so what the heck. definitely the "telechargement***" ones are the busiest (which apparently mean download). blogfille is pretty good for traffic too, which I guess means "girls' blog" or "blog for a girl", it has links to blog software I think.

like I said, time for me to check them out w/ a french speaker ...

a lot of my french domains get good traffic and clicks, problem is that I haven't looked close enough to tell the good from the bad (I have quite few of them).

and I smartened up and got the right banking ones for here in canada -

I wish I spoke french ... my second language is actually Inuktitut (Inuit). Not much of a market for Inuktitut domain names I am afraid ....
