What does a moderator get paid anyways? Rough idea please

I need to hire one for my forum

Moderators on here I think do not get 'paid'.

If your site has advertising on it, then I would suggest 'paying' a moderator/moderators a percentage of that advertising. It is then in their interest/s to try and make the site a success.
