Nevermind. The unscheduled "scheduled" maintenance is done and site back online.

Down today?

not down, but their server is so friggin slow it drives me mad. it is officially slowest loading site on web for me .

It has been chugging along the last several days. And like always their support is too. I still have a ticket without a response since Tuesday.

I've been looking for a year to move my domains to Moniker and reading stuff like this prevents me from pulling the trigger.

if you move your domains in ...wave to me on the way by...I'm moving my domains out. :pound:

Ok this is pissing me off. Why is Moniker so pucking slow? This has never been this bad. Can someone from Moniker care to explain?

Can't login
Can't checkout
Takes several times of clicking things to get them to work

can't login either and need an urgent dns update to one of my domains

phone support not 24h(just found out on my first ever call to them) and to submit a ticket you need to login which doesn't work. support always been slow anyway.

site speed was slow but ok int he past but if the login is not fixed within few hours and my business suffers from their greed(they can't afford 1-2 more servers to take from the load?) I am transfering everything out of them.

and now that they got me started the fact that you need to go through a checkout for things that should simply have an update button is a huge lack of consideration.

I start using them since enom support let me down and it happened that I saw their name at the right time few years ago but ever since i used them both and enom has come a long way in regards to customer support ever since. They call themselves the only company that provides full domain asset management but even simple management is a pain. probably the domain selling part of business is taking over but i am afraid I am not the only unsatisfied customer.

Moniker I hope you do listen to your customers

after all the ranting above I want to mention that I was just able to login. i have no idea for how long the login was down as I only tried for like 15-20 mins before posting here (but i see a message that there were problems with speed for several days) and the fact that i may or may not be able to access my domains settings when i may need it most and with no chance for a quick support I am probably still going to move away at least the domains i use for my business.

Please move this thread to the humour section...LOL :pound:

I could have told you this over a year ago. im still waiting for many call backs some over a year, and Im not holding my breath...so I have gone into a simple 3 point plan.
1.transfer
2.transfer
3.transfer

:yo:

Ryan, where did you transfer to?

mostly Fabulous... dont get me wrong every company has their good points and I really didnt want to leave Moniker...but they just left me no choice, I was talking to myself on their answering machine, and I had to make a business decision. I still wish they could get things worked out. But Fabulous has been Fabulous.

Everyone has their problems. I am in no rush to pack up and leave, but if I can not even login to register or manage my domains without issues then that is another story.

moniker still de facto down for me
(it is not possible to fund the account)

Been down for me off and on basis for several days including today, or if I can login after many attempts the site is agonizingly slow taking forever to load pages.

Possibly the site is under attack as in the past there were only rare issues. Another possibility is they do not have sufficient bandwidth what with all the new domains there and the new content about the ongoing auctions and events.

really been getting on my nerves lately ..trying now

Someone from Moniker care to explain? I emailed my acct rep, Peter Brooks, and he has yet to respond.

Can't login right now. This is really annoying.

I see Mike from Fabulous is reading this thread. :-)

We'll see how it is in a bit after dinner. If I am having problems logging in to register some names I am going to blow a gasket.

Really.. they are beginning to suck..support sucks.. now you can't log-in half the time .. the privacy issue recently and other problems..just search the forums.. starting to bail .. prices aren't even that great anymore.. Fabulous will be getting more trans-in of the tld's they support..
I'm tired of the excuses

Not sure if I want to house my domains outside of the US.
