lots of cheap names

us.org , lt.com, property.net- can't help but think those owners could have got more here for them, without moniker taking their chunk...
I'm pretty sure he was joking...

These results are, generally, pretty disappointing, imo....Down, across the board...And a lot of names were passed in.

Some bright spots, though...

Cleaning.com at $100,000...Floor.com at $275,000...Camps.com $110,000...Searching.com at $85,000...BirthdayPresents.com at $80,000...Plans.com at $70,000...Sax.com at $70,000, are not bad at all...

The .me's were strong, too...And, CEO.info at $32,500 is pretty good for a .info, imo.
.

Yes .Me where very strong, and as the nearly only ones most of the .Me sold way over opening Bid /Range with top Date.Me $70,000.

I would have liked see some more of the .com got sold:undecided:

US.org - not sure I see the value here either. $45K was reasonable.

Think centralnic.com – in fact, wouldn't be overly surprised if they were the buyers. They have us.com already, this would be a nice addition.

Thumbs up to whoever got it, sweet buy – wish i'd known it was for sale.

Jeez, us.org is an insane deal. Makes me wonder if the United States economy right now sucking so bad drove the price of that way down. Still, even if used as the word "us" that's well worth the price.

overall this was well run compared to many of the last ones... they started off great coming outta the gate with a run of sold domains ... like 9 or 10. and there is much more chatter about it before and after then most live auction.

IMO I still think to auction a great domain with no reserve is a dangerous game ...LOL

.net domains cheap as usual

Surely a second choice to .com, however it only depends on the name and the audience it's being sold to. Invest.net went for $40k earlier this year. Trades.net is almost as good.

The final sold prices reflect the current economy, I suppose.

On the contrary, the current state of the economy is substantially worse.

You know...selling 3 mil in domains is not bad...If it were 300k....that would be another story.

Wow, CEO.info sold for 32k?? am I missing something about .info's? :-)

Yes, and you ain't seen nothing yet.

Anybody who thinks the politicians on Capitol Hill are going to get this sorted this week end has his head up his arse.

As for McCain, he still wants to bang most of the budget into futile wars when the focus is going to be on essentials like housing, food and fuel.

I have zero faith in Obama, but he still has to be a hell of lot better than a ventriloquist's dumby.

If only we listened to the Checkoslovakian emigres on the public payroll our economy would've been allright by now.
So far their only contribution was The Two Wild and Crazy Guys on SNL

Floor.com - not sure I see the value here.
LT.com - real bargain.

US.org was a bargain. The country code of the world's only superpower should've fetched more, definitely

Btw, is it me or are the .me names replacing .mobis in terms of inflated selling prices? Good .me names were going for xx,xxx while good .mobis could see just x,xxx bids...

If only we listened to the Checkoslovakian emigres

Quite a few Czechs might kill you for that spelling...

Did anyone here buy or sell anything in the auction?
