Just got a reply from Don at Moniker. He says more are being added and mine by tomorrow, told me the page/line so they are mapping out what and when, just taking a little longer

'Allegedly' comes from Snap itself. If there has EVER been a bid on a name at Snap in the current list, it has shown up as a bid now even if the bidder was no longer interested and regardless if it has hit reserve.

btw, a second alleged bid of $325 is posted for, get this, "gaycar.com" ????

Online - when I checked there were logged 17 bidders and 34 watchers. How many people were present there no idea. How many people actively bid - my guess no more than 20 total.

I wouldn't bet on it really. The higher dollar sales don't seem to follow a pattern. Two years ago "shemale" was the big seller, last year it was "mature", this time didn't have any biggies so "chick" might not be the "in" keyword in the Summer Internext. Plus, total revenue appeared to be way, way down this Live auction versus past ones, perhaps a reflection of the times. After all, Larry Flynt did ask for a bailout.

The total for the Live was only $160,000 gross, a far cry from previous auctions. Usually the winter Internext does better than the Summer show.

No new bids at present. Same 7 names. And about 28 hours left in the Extended auction at http://www.snapnames.com/?ig=44. Then all attention moves to Domain Fest.

Yes, I made it to Galvaston. I'm surprised I have internet. Even the hotel here has over half the rooms still without phones. Horrible damage everywhere remains from Ike.
