Hi All,

As a reminder, the 10% .com/.net VeriSign price increase will go into effect July 1st.
Yes it sucks and unfortunately out of all our control but it is going to happen across all registrars!

Let’s (try) and get all your names renewed early/transferred to Moniker prior to the price increase so it covers you for 1 year and then you don’t/won’t have to worry about the increase until next year.

Email me directly if you have any questions!

Thanks!! ;)

If it goes into effect July 1st, why has all my prices been changed for over a month now?

Feel free to PM me in regards to this, so we are not discussing my account in the open forum.

Thanks

What prices have changed jdk? Email me directly with the details and I'll have it looked into

My .com and .net I'll send an email in a bit with some previous orders showing the lower pricing.

Are any other extension prices increasing ?

jim

Why is Moniker increasing prices 10% on both .COM and .NET, when VeriSign is increasing .COM by 7% and .NET by 10%?

JDK - The price increase does include a small price adjustment. As we're continuing to invest in system improvements and security enhancements, our operational costs have increased. This adjustment helps to offset those increased costs and allow us to continue to provide you with the service you expect from us.

What is the price going to be - what is it now?
(I don't use moniker that often)

so ICANN is adding 7% and you as a company feel obligated to add another 3% for your own agenda?

Ill pass, if thats how your company operates. Im not interested. 7% is already a big increase, the fact that your company is adding that extra 3% is a turn off for me.

That could be an adjustment. Registrars may not always pass the full additional cost at every increase by verisign, but they have to catch up from time to time.
Prices are rounded too :)

Thanks for the straight answer. That is all I was looking for whether or not you were going to give a straight answer or if the company was going to dodge it. If I didn't receive one I would have setup to transfer out all my names this weekend :) Now time to renew them all before the increase.

Hey mginc - I would certainly like the name of the person you spoke with who told you that your prices would stay the same after the industry wide price increase. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected]

Thanks!!
