i don't really know how~ but I registered SPAIN.ES tru your system

it was showing "available"

plus want refund back to my paypal but not in moniker dollars, thanks

once i tried to register GOV.DE lol , same as you moniker was showing it as available and then i had to refund my money to my account through several emails lol

we are not here to waste time guessing if they are available or no when it shows available at registrar

the point is ~ if moniker sells .es or .de's he has to configure the system to work properly~

I tried to register Yahoo.es <--- because it was available - back in 1978.

I have one domain registered with Moniker that I cannot seem to move over to GoDaddy, where the 30+ other domains I own are parked. The folks at Moniker are not the easiest people to work with - at least that's been my personal experience.

Agreed. Wish Moniker would get the kinks out. Tried to move parking to DomainSponsor tonight, would not work, gave up and moved to Fabulous instead. Technical problems there need to be resolved.

Eurodns has a similar bug with .es because status codes returned by the registry are not handled correctly.
.es has two types of reserved domains: prohibido & reservado.
It's best to double check with the registry at nic.es, it would clearly show spain.es cannot be registered.

You are trying to purchase a reserve name and the .ES registry prohibits that, not Moniker.com. "Reserve" names are not available to anyone at anytime. For a complete list of them you can go the the registry itself. Here is a link to them: http://www.iana.org/domains/root/db/index.html
