How is it possible to get more clicks on ads than pageviews in adsense?

For example, say your stats shows 4 page views and 12 clicks - how is this even possible? Once someone clicks an ad they leave the page and go to the ad website. they would have to come back to click on more ads, and wouldn't that generate another page view? unless page views means 'unique page views'? Anyone have an answer?

I've found the Trafficz parking pages to be similiar to this...
If a domain gets 200 uniques per month, but the visitors only make 1 search but there is 2 clicks, then they count the CTR as 200%
Kinda weird when there is 200 uniques and only 2 clicks.
The CTR should be counted by how many uniques land on the page

I for example right-click on most links, including ads, so that they always open in a new window. Many others do so, too, hence for them your page with the ads remains in the window it originally opened in, which may explain why they click more than one of the ads.

Well yes, 'cos such a (right)click will still go thru googlesyndication.com to the advertised site.

It is likely people are clicking on more than one ad on the page
