someone should lock this thread. its become obvious that the newbie poster doesnt own mother.com. why bother discussing what he/she should do with a domain they dont own?

How much do you think this domain is worth?
Thanks,

This mad nexus betwwen type-in traffic and future dollar worth !

Sure it's important for traffic typo names etc. that can NEVER be
turned into full-blown IPO flagship names, but the time has
already come when top quality concept/intrinsic-worth names
are bringing prices WAY beyond 8 years of type-in traffic.

Amongst us, whose memory stretches back to the (old version -
pre crash) Great Domains ads that stated something like:
"..is your next billion-dollar IPO amongst these names ?...."

Call me a mad optimist, but every online-commerce trend suggests
that it'll not be long before this marketing phrase is 'born again'.

bah, but no humbug

Whether Ango/Andrew owns this or not, Mother.com is a TOP
future "Billion-Dollar" IPO site.

Everyone who has a mother, one step forward.. (not you Fred..)

Mothers are a business as big as Amazon ... Bigger, there's
no 'Amazon-Day' each year.... is there ?

If you attribute a 1% worth to future IPO flagship domain
names...for future billion dollar comanies... that makes an
appraisal of ... Gee Whiz... $10 Million.

Not today or tomorrow, but sooner than we may think.
'Traffic' worth has a foreseeable upper asymptote, Intrinsic
worth doesn't.

You might think it doesn't matter, but the rules say that you can't post for appraisals a domain you don't own - period. This thread should be moved to the Cafe.

What a nice appraisal. I happen to agree very much with it.
