Amazing - Just Amazing - That would have been a great drop -

this is no coincidence, mp3.com has been spiralling towards oblivion for awhile now. F*ckedCompany regularly posts messages about the terrible financial shape the company is in.

MP3.com was bought by Vivendi in Frace 2 years ago.. The downward spiral started then. . . Would have been hilarious if the dropped.

Ummm,

In my opinion, it would have never dropped..

THey cant have thier site down for 15 days+ and not renew the domain unless they trully dont care.

The same as the old eBay story, it would never had dropped.

It looks from that article that the domain which (nearly) dropped wasn't actually mp3.com itself, but actually mp3s.com, which is a (Stupid, Unnecessary) domain name used for some things like individual artist sites associated with mp3.com. If they'd put those sites in a logical subdomain of mp3.com instead of a different domain for no good reason, they wouldn't have had a problem with their subsites "expiring".

Vivendi itself is not so healthy...

Didn't the silverspoon third generation Bronfmans have something to do with Vivendi?

They know how to lose a fortune!! LOL

Oh, that isn't the only name they have let slip. Im watching one now.
