Hello, After years away I am back on this forum because I quit Namepros.com for good as apparently some members are allowed to insult me and if I reply back to them the same way, I get suspended.

Anyway I would like an honest opinion on 2 domains I just registered for around $20 each: MS1.Now & MS4.Now because MSNBC is MS.Now Did I waste $40?
What would you list the buy It now price on each of them? I registered MS4.now only because Channel 4 is the Channel number for most NBC Stations in the US.
Thank you for your opinions. As MS.now was only appraised at around $1,000 before MSNBC/NBC Registered it, I'm of the opinion that appraisal tools won't be useful now as a result.

I'm not an expert domainer (well, I'm not a domainer to begin with), but I know enough about domains (and capitalism in general) to stay away from trademarked / trademarkable domains :p

In other words, I'd just let the domains go and take the $40 loss because MSNBC are big sharks, so they'll come after you as soon as your domains start getting traction and / or get monetized, which means you're going to lose them either way but if you decide to lose them now at least you won't have headaches associated with lawsuits, C&D letters, compensations that you can't afford paying, and so on. Two things that I've learned not to mess around with in this life are lawyers and doctors, each one of these has the right to kill you without suffering consequences...

You might consider avoiding domains tied to existing or easily protected trademarks.

And for what it’s worth, we're really sorry to hear about your NamePros experience.

In this case, Spaceship basically won't let you register trademarked names & essentially I just registered MS1 & MS4 with a .now. I probably won't do similar things in the future. Likely won't get any offers either. I did this more as a whim

I don't think they can trademark domain names per se.
The original ms was Microsoft’s trademark in combination with national broadcasting network. MS still is about Microsoft. It was MSN.com. I’d be interested in seeing what they will pay the guy that owns MSNOW.com - m + snow…
