Seems like you can't do anything nowadays without incurring
the self-righteous indignation of some morally superior
politically-correct individuals.

..... or rather without coming into contact with morally corrupt insensitive people. To wish to profit from the misfortune and death of others is insensitive at the least and an indication of moral corruption at worst.
We all have the freedom of choice to do what we like, the consequences of that are that we demonstrate the quality or lack of our humanity.

Are you really saying that Dabbler is morally corrupt just
because he tried to get mudslides Appraised?

Hey now. Dabbler is a newbie as you all see. I don't believe that the intention on his part was to be insensitive. We all look at the news and do our best to grab domain names that are going to get traffic. It's a tough business and if he didn't grab those names, someone else would have.

Natural disasters happen, should naturaldisaster.com not be grabbed up or profited from? Would you also consider it insensitive?

In my opinion, none of us should throw stones. He's a newbie trying to land a name that might make him a buck or two, I don't believe the intention was to be insensitive or cruel.

I'm not trying to start a huge argument over this but I'm sure most of us have bought names we later thought were on the immoral or insensitive side. That's my 2 cents!

Regardless of the ins and outs of the timing, I don't think they're worth anything anyway.

No - on two counts:

1) My comments were not specific to Dabbler but more a response to your post, however I extend my comments to all who would profit from the misery of others.
2) I don't think to request an appraisal per se is morally corrupt.
