200k searches ain't bad - develop it, hook up with an affiliate program for cd's, do some SEO and there you are.

Why do these searches raise the value any....its a .org, and a hyphen?

Because it means that more than 200000 searches have been made for that term which again means chances are if he carefully SEO-ed his site and gets a good position for that term the site will get good traffic.Typein isn't everything.
Of course we're not talking about resale value here - just value in terms of developing and searchengine positioning.

I'm a big fan of search engine names (hyphenated) :-)

No real resale value on them, ...but if you can get them positioned....you can reap the dough.
