The Us does work but Overture searches are only a little over 100 in October.

Technically the two words and one of them being an acronym (admittedly a famous one) take away from the already discounted domain name due to the .us extension.

Despite its technical inferiority (awards would be better), I think is may be worth approx. $65 although others may disagree. It pretty well describes the content and is to the point.

I appreciate your feedback Monster. I am pretty much done with the .us thingy...I am back to .com's and net's.

MVPAward.com doesn't even seem valuable. Let alone the .us extension. Waste of money in my opinion.

Best of luck.

A familiar term to sports fans but I don't see a way to capitalize on it. I would agree that in any extension it wouldn't be a great name for resale.

I was thinking on the lines of a sports site. I think it has some potential for the U.S. market, but I agree that the .us Tld limits it's world wide appeal.

Re-hashing the MVP topic!

Yes...I am recycling this name in the forum. Thought that maybe others had a few comments.

I don't know about the value of the MVP award, but I do think the appraisers are underestimating the value of the .us extension.

Maybe .us is not worth that much now, but give it time. I'm very optimistic about .us.

Almost all of the good, catchy .com, and .net names are taken and renewed each year - that's why people wanted to create these new extensions like .us.

I think that that people will certainly migrate to the .us extension to get the domain name that they really want instead of settling for an extremely long or hyphenated .com that doesn't make any sense. It's only a matter of time.

Don't develop "tunnel vision" and miss out on the promise of that the .us extension has to offer.
