Hey, i am selling one of my relatively new websites www.MVSpot.com offering visitors an easy to use Music Code System.
The site is using a MVscript (script) worth $40.

Traffic: The site averages around 18,000-19,000 hits a day and 500 unique visitors (i can provide screenshots on request from a PM).
I would also like to add the traffic is growing each day and has been linked on such sites as www.Digg.com and www.USAToday.com
Search engine traffic is average with only Google producing great stats with 9218 links from it all the rest are still in there hundreds.

Users: As you can see there is members section currently there are 573 registered members and it is gaining around 100 more each week.

Revenue: I was using google adsense on the site for 1-2 weeks before i knew it wasnt allowed and i was making $5-$10 a day i have since moved to Chitika and making on average $2.50 a day which isnt bad but for the amount of traffic isnt much.
If some work was done on it you could really bump up the revenue, such as pop up ads (i didnt use this too keep visitors coming back)

I am wanting to sell this site but i am in no hurry if there arent any decent offers put in i will be keeping as i can see alot of potential with traffic growing .

No the videos are served on the server provided by MVScript so it does not waste alot of bandwidth on your behalf.

SigRent, why don't you show all the cards? The aforementioned MVScript has received a C&D (Cease & Desist) letter from Yahoo!. Happened today, why sell your site so quickly?

Is this true?
If it is then the site is not for sale i have not noticed any problems with the server yet so i assumed everything was okay.
How do you know there was a C&D issued?
Would like to know for sure as this isnt good for my site.

I have copy of this script and I must say the legalities was smelling the day I bought the script (my bad and no one elses) and is rotten smelling today.

I received a email today from mvscripts admin stating the C&D .
Anybody trying to sell one of these scripts on this board as fine and working, is doing much more that just pulling your leg

Okay yes they have received a C&D just got an e-mail then explaining it.
From what i gathered there will be a week or so until it is done so the site could easy be transfered into something else in that amount of time giving the buyer the option of just using the domain to drive traffic to there site with over 500 unique visitors the site still had value.
Even if you where to add up advertising you could easily make your money back.

If i was the guy who bought if for 35K i would contact yahoo and find out when and if they first contacted the previous owner... i am sure legal actions could be taken if the site was sold after yahoo had gave notice before hand... 35K now that is a hard lump to swallow....

The script is still good if you'd like to use it for the actual use of uploading like funny videos so it could become a humor site script. But they just can't provide the music codes anymore.
