My CTR is half at parked.com

my understanding is that the more premium domains get 1 click landers per their yahoo feed. lower quality names require the 2 click landers - but don't be scared off by them. high double digit CTR aren't uncommon if you take some time to optimize your lander.

When I've used Sedo my CTR% has always been around 10%. I've been with Parked for about 17 months and my CTR% is just under 50% during that time. And the RPC has been better at Parked than at Sedo for me by about 3X.

I've got some domains that didn't seem to do anything at Parked but actually make a little money at Sedo but like 97% of the time Parked has outperformed Sedo for me, and not just by a little either.

I'm guessing you can't really bypass the ENTER page for adult domains, right?

I signed up for Parked recently myself and noticed the lower unique counts. I hope that everyone on here realizes that if Parked shows a lot less uniques visitors than Sedo or others, than their CTR and RPM should both be significantly higher with just the same amount of clicks and earnings. When comparing 2 services, make sure that you always take into account the difference in visitors and the impact that will make on the ratios for CTR and RPM. That said, the total earnings are, of course, what is most important.

Good point Sleepys.

Parked for me has dominated Sedo in total earnings for a vast majority of my domains.

Here is the question...why are people still wasting so much valuable traffic at sedo and nd, etc, etc when parked.com is clearly superior?

for my domain parked is not superior. parked updated RPC is $0.04
sedo RPC is €0.03 = $0.04

and parked ctr is half. i think because of template.

for my domain i cant say parked is better.

also visitor origin changed.

sedo says 14.6% japan parked 3%
sedo says 13.4% usa parked 6.44%
sedo says 9.6 % france parked 21.46%
sedo says 3.8% spain parked 18.88%

why are they so different. ok parked results for only 8 hours but huge difference

i have to learn much more...

i will try parked next days and i will write results here ..

feed providers, traffic origin, there are a million variables...is that your only name with traffic?

i am a newbie .. i dont have so much valuable names..

Sadly, after 10 days of testing 10 domains, I managed to get a little over 300 views and one click, a click I believe I may have given it when testing, for a grand total of 31 cents. Granted, the domains are low conversion, but they have always made at least a few dollars at their former parking place. I have just moved them back.

But, hey! At least I can say I gave Parked a fair trial.

my other name fdtv.net gets 31 visitors and 18 clicks yesterday. CTR is more than %50.
it had %10 ctr at sedo..

bellc1,
Do me a favor and PM your parked.com username and I will make sure to look at your domains and give you an opinion on if they weren't optimized well or they just won't work with our system.
