And that's really your only reliable ally in domain name-legal issues like this.

Unfortunately you made the all-too-common error of registering your domain
name through a reseller for a registrar. Legal fine prints between the registrar
and the reseller "force" the former to refer end-users to the latter first for any
possible resolution.

Depending on what dnbuy will tell them, enom might or might not even do a
thing about it. And that's the time to seek legal advice if you're RAW (Ready,
Able and Willing) to possibly get the domain name back.

Good luck. You're gonna need it, lots of it.

(On the side, I wonder if there's more to this. But...oh well...)

today i called enom again and they gave me temporary access to login to my account. but that was same thing i had with dnbuy. i can get in but cant change anything.
When i called back a second time, somebody looked into it further and said my domain was locked because i had improper contact info.
WHich might be correct because i had an invalid address and phone number because i was prank called and harrassed a few months back.
They advised me to change it back which i was able to do..the only thing im able to do in the account.
They then told me ton email [email protected] and tell them i changed the contact info and to remove the lock which i did.
So now i am awaiting them....keeping my fingers crossed

It happened to me when i was with surfspeedy.com, and they were very nice. first they banned me. then when i cleared and told them i am not the one. they traced the details how it happened. and opened the site for me. and told me what all precuations to take. actually i was affected by phising.

try to talk to them send more emails, dont get tired. there will be a solution.

thanks again everybody and just for the record i still did not ever have any reply from DNBUY.com i emailed them several times a day for days and from 3 different email services just to be sure it wasnt me missing my emails

Well, I already mentioned you should contact enom directly.
dnbuy is only a reseller and will not be able to help anyway.

I used to reg domains through dnbuy couple of years ago and like with you, the owner did not get back to me when I had a problem.

only enom did help me.
enom is your registrar !
