If payroll.cc is appraised at $20,000...then I want $100,000 for lot.cc and $35,000 for optic.cc. Did this guy charge for the appraisals? Never pay for domain appraisals. A domain name is only worth what someone is willing to pay, on a given day!

Hi Spudleyk:

You have done something very smart by asking the fair minded members of this board for a reality check. I can only hope that we have been able to stop you from being further scammed. You got many $0 $0 $0 appraisals, but also were lucky to receive a detailed appraisal by the respected and knowledgeable –RJ-.

For entertainment, I have scheduled below the original appraisal you posted and -RJ-‘s appraisal:

1. OnGet.Com – 8000$ -RJ- 10$
2. LenderPortal.Com - 10000$ -RJ- 60$
3. BestHostingNow.Com - 2000$ -RJ- 20$
4. JavaEdu.Com - 2000$ -RJ- 40$
5. BenefitGateway.com - 7000$ -RJ- 10$
6. LocateWork.com - 8000$ -RJ- 200$
7. Payroll.cc - 20000$ -RJ- 40$
8. Steel.cc - 10000$ -RJ- 20$

The total of $67,000 in domains was reduced by $59,600 to $400. I can only imagine how your felt when you viewed the deflated values. Even if you divided the original appraisal by $1,000, you would not reach reality, even then, you really would have to be lucky to pull $400 from the 8 domains (in my opinion).

You also indicated that someone indicated he didn't have the current finances but had some potentially interested contacts and would try to negociate with them (for a comission). Thanks for telling me about that as I was unaware that the PREPAID COMMISION SCAM was in operation on domains.

I wish you good luck in your future registrations.

Welcome to the domain game, Spudley! FYI: We've all experienced this ... to varying degrees. Good Luck.

So -RJ- you think I could get movies.cc for less than $100?:D

Actually, on second thought, forget it.

For everyone's info, i got the apprisals at FastDominSales.com

One of my "would be" offers suggest a few inclusing that one, i didn't really care where it came from i just wanted to satisfy the person making the offer so i chose the cheapest....

But from what i understand, the contact came from AllForDomains.com which apparently owns FastDomainSales. So in other words i was somewhat scammed.... Live and learn...

Maybe, you never know. :) There are some amazing bargains to be found in buying ccTLD's because they aren't well respected among speculators. I myself would rather own movies.cc than a subpar .com

Sell your lenderportal.com ASAP.
If they want 90% discount, give them and let it go. :D
