I read the article and I see how you came to the conclusion that casinogame.tv might be a good registration. It's possible, but you also have to look at recent .tv sales figures too.

You could check afternic.com, sedo.us, and greatdomains.com for any recent sales of .tv names. Or you could post a thread on dnforum.com or domainstate and ask for any information on .tv. I am just a skeptic about buying .tv names because I haven't heard of too many .tv sales.

Premium Domains like sex.tv, food.tv or casino.tv would be great for resale in my opinion - but the the dot tv corporation has already inflated the buying price of premium domains such that it would be hard for a reseller to make a profit. For example, I think that the dot tv corporation wanted 1,000,000 per year for sex.tv. That's a pretty high price to pay for a domain that you just intend to sell. You'd have to sell it for 1.5 million/year or more to make a profit. I think that's one of the reasons that .tv hasn't taken off.

Also note that casinogametv.com is available - (and the other extensions like .net, .org., biz, info, and .us are available too for casinogametv.). You might consider getting casinogametv.com as well as the .tv that you mentioned.

I like casinogame.tv, and I am sure it would have a nice resale price in the future.

good luck

hhunterjr thanks for your insight.

we consider my options.

thank yesonline

In my opinion, there's a reason why .TV's are expensive to register....I very much foresee the migration of PC to television...its a good investment for the future IMHO...

LuckyCasino.tv
BlackJackCasino.tv
Ipod.tv
StanleyCup.tv

few of mine!

hhmmmmm.
I kind of feel its the *exact* other way around...
:-)

so you're saying .TV's are selling high because so few are being sold that they have to make money somehow....interesting view...no real right answer as of yet...I guess we'll have to continue this talk in 5 years time...

nice to see some debate... keep it up...... D:)

onlinecasino.tv was available shortly before I reged internetcasino.tv ...

My biggest regret ever though, was not scooping up cult.tv, I was too indecisive, and by the time I'd finally decided to go ahead and buy it, I'd missed out by a matter of hours! A few months later the owner sold it for some 20k to the current owners. Pah!

I own logodesign.tv and will use it as the main domain for my soon to come logo design site; i think although it's a .tv this name makes a 1000 times more sense than names like Wonderlogo.com or Logowizard.com or whatever - as as long as names like logodesign.com or logodesign.net don't become available (they never will) this name is just as good for SEO as any other logodesign.xyz name and way better for seo than anything that is not keyterm.com/.net/.etc
I know the extension is not most important with seo but it helps.

And at the end of the day you want to be found in the SE's rather than to have to pay for advertising - so if you reg a .tv for development that's fine; no clue about resale value though.
