I was trying to access FTP via IE today, and it wouldn't work. Strange.. it had in the past, several times.... mhmmm, so I emailed them and they said

"Ah... we generally disallow IE to access via FTP... it doesn't work so well. Why do you have to upload it via IE? "

Reason is my FTP client can't handle what im uploading for some reason, so i normally upload this file using IE FTP, and have done it before with this same company. Why do they say this?

Is this BS? Any ideas?

I was about to ask the same question, because not many people do that. By the way, what are you uploading that your FTP client can't handle?

ftp://password:[email protected]

it worked :P
ya, usually if it doesnt work to enter it in through the forum in IE, that form usually works, its a bit more manual and not as secure, but it woks.
