I'm surprised to see there haven't been any bids yet. Some nice domains here (I'm partial to externalharddrive.ca). Good luck!

Since I placed these domains for Auction this Friday 22, I have had offers to buy 3 domains, one for as much as $300, however, I declined the opportunity, not because I,m confident I will get more on Friday, but because, I think if you put something up for sale in an Auction, on a certain date, then, thats when it should become available. It was a tempting offer, but I had to stick to my guns, whether you guys see it that way, I don,t know, the show must go on :)

Uh, no.

Although he may have meant this otherwise, 12:00 AM EST is actually midnight, as in one minute after 11:59 PM EST on Thursday. This means that, contrary to what many believe, midnight is the start of the day.

By the way, 12:00 PM EST Friday is noon time, or mid-day Friday.

If this were a contract, you would say then that a time zone that is three hours later would view 12:00 AM EST on Friday as being 9:00 PM PST Thursday.

Of course, it is very possible this was not his intention.

*** I have to add that 12:00 AM and 12:00 PM are, by using "A.M." or "P.M.", both tautologically incorrect. It cannot be "12:00 before noon" or "12:00 after noon" when 12:00 is noon when we look at a 24-hour clock. ***

It may be best to either use a 24 hour clock or so-called military time designator to avoid confusion.

My take on it Jaydub, is it will be 9 am in the morning on the Pacific coast. 10 o,clock here in Calgary or Mountain time, and 12 o clock NOON in Toronto , 12:30 in the Maritimes:)

Oh no, not this again!

1:00 PM AST / 13:00 AST - Region: Maritimes
1:00 PM AST / 13:00 AST - Region: Labrador
1:30 PM NST / 13:30 NST - Region: Newfoundland and Labrador, but only the Newfoundland portion!

Why not simply state 11:59 PM EST?

Well, he said that he means noontime, so if he did go with one minute before, it would be 11:59 AM EST.
